Who we are
Copy My Tapes is a family-run video, film, photo and audio transfer service. All transfers are completed in-house in London. You can drop your tapes off with us in London by arrangement, or send them by post from anywhere in the UK.

What we collect
When you use the contact form we collect your name, email address, phone number if you give one, and whatever you write in the message. That is all. We do not ask for payment details through this website.
If you phone, email or post your tapes to us we keep the contact details needed to discuss the job and return your items.
What we do with it
We use your details to answer your enquiry, quote for the work, keep you updated and return your originals and copies. We do not sell your details, and we do not pass them to anyone for marketing.
Enquiries sent through the website are emailed to our own inbox and stored on our website's secure database so nothing is lost if an email fails to arrive.
Your tapes and your footage
Nothing is outsourced, so your tapes stay in our care throughout the entire transfer process. Your footage is private. We do not publish it, share it or use it as an example without asking you first.
Working copies of your files are kept for a short period after the job so we can re-supply if a disc or drive fails in transit, then deleted.
How long we keep things
Website enquiries are kept while we are dealing with them and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Job records are kept as long as required for accounting purposes.
You can ask us at any time to delete your enquiry and contact details, and we will.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not set advertising cookies and does not track you across other sites. Only the technical cookies needed for the site to work are used.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email CopyMyTapes@gmail.com and we will deal with it. If you are not happy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
